Privacy policy
LUI Interactive collects only the information you send us through a form or by email, uses it solely to reply to you and deliver the service you asked for, never sells or rents it, and deletes it on request.

This policy explains what personal data LUI Interactive collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to satisfy a lawyer, but it is intended to meet our obligations under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and equivalent regimes elsewhere.

What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and only these.
Information you give us
When you complete the enquiry form or the free audit form, we receive what you typed into it: your name, email address, and optionally your company, website address, budget range, timeline and the message itself. When you email or message us directly, we receive whatever you send.
Basic technical information
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard server information for every visit, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site available. We do not combine it with anything else or use it to identify you.
What we do not collect
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
- We do not run third-party advertising pixels or social media trackers.
- We do not build profiles of visitors or make automated decisions about you.
- We do not buy personal data from anyone.
One preference is stored in your browser: the currency you choose on the pricing page. It never leaves your device and is not personal data. See our cookies page.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract. You asked us a question, so we answer it.
- To deliver a free audit you requested. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To provide services under a contract. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep the website secure and available. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
We do not send marketing emails. If that ever changes, it will be opt-in only and you will not be added to anything by having contacted us.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of processors, and no one else receives your data.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and delivers form submissions. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox by email. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Our email provider stores the resulting correspondence.
We never sell, rent or trade your personal data. We would disclose it only if legally required to, and would tell you unless prohibited from doing so.
International transfers
Our processors operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your own country, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers maintain, such as standard contractual clauses and applicable adequacy decisions.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years afterwards, where tax and accounting rules require it.
- Server logs: retained by Cloudflare according to their own schedule.
Your rights
Wherever you are, we will honour all of the following. You can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- provide it in a portable format
Email contact@luiinteractive.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk; if you are in the EU, to your national supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted and delivered directly to our inbox rather than stored in a database on this website, which means there is no store of enquiry data here to breach.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
